Give on the Green | 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. | Library Lawn

Celebrate Giving Day on Library Lawn from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be giveaways, iced coffee, donuts, free swag, games, and more.

Students, faculty, and staff can de-stress with a piñata break from noon to 1 p.m. and chill out with Officer Max from 1 to 2 p.m.

Those who donate $23 or more will receive a pair of VU socks as a thank-you gift.

Miss the action on Library Lawn? The fun continues at Sarratt with donuts and giveaways. 

Athletics Event | 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. | McGugin, McCall Room

Athletics staff, coaches and student-athletes are encouraged to drop in to promote and participate in Giving Day. Breakfast, coffee, and ice cream will be provided. Giveaways include pennants, buckets hats and socks for gifts of $23 or more.

Divinity Event | 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. | Vanderbilt Divinity School Lobby/Atrium

Divinity School students, faculty and staff are encouraged to visit the Divinity School Lobby/Atrium for lunch. A pair of VU socks will be available for those who make a gift of $22 or more.

Law School Event | 11:00 a.m.-3 p.m.| Law School

Law School students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to visit the Law School to make their Giving Day Gifts. There will be food, drinks, and giveaway items.

School of Nursing Event | 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. | The Atrium

Join the Nursing community for free cookies and milk, giveaways, and VU-branded socks for gifts with any donation of $23 or more. Dean Jeffries will host a power hour of giving from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., matching gifts dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000. When 350 donors make a gift to the School of Nursing on April 27, a $20,000 gift will be unlocked in memory of beloved former faculty member Tom Christenbery, MSN’87, PhD’04, CNE.

School of Medicine Event | 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. | Light Hall - North Lobby

Join the School of Medicine community for free sweet treats, giveaways and VU-branded socks with any donation of $23 or more. When 125 total donors give to any area of VUSM on Giving Day, an anonymous gift of $47,500 will be made for student scholarships. And when 175 total donors give to any area os VUSM, an additional $42,500 will be given. Additionally, Dean Balser will host a power hour of giving from noon to 1 p.m., matching gifts dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000!

Basic Sciences Event | 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.| Suzie’s Café 3rd floor of MRB III

Join the Basic Sciences community for free sweet treats, giveaways and VU-branded socks for gifts with any donation of $23 or more. Dean Kuriyan will host a power hour from noon to 1 p.m., matching gifts dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000. From 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Vice Dean Chuck Sanders and his wife Becky Sanders will match dollar-for-dollar gifts made to any area of Basic Sciences up to $2,000. Additionally, when 175 donors give to any area of Basic Sciences on Giving Day, a $25,000 gift will be made from the Basic Sciences Board of Visitors.

Black Cultural Center Event | 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. | BCC

Join the BCC for treats and giveaways all day on April 27. The Black Cultural Center is challenges donors to raise $50,000 to unlock an additional $50,000 from Anya and Corey Thomas, Susan Chapman-Hughes and Christopher Hughes, Angelica Fourtney, Racquel Martin, Eileen Carpenter, Maria Carpenter, Drs. Latoya and Dennis Harris, Dr. Warren Hutchings, Drs. Kristen and Rosevelt Noble and Dr. Robert Palmer and Ashley Palmer.

Graduate School | 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. | Alumni Hall

Graduate students, faculty and staff are encouraged to visit Alumni Hall to make their Giving Day Gifts. Sweet treats and giveaways will be available.

Owen Event | 12:30 p.m.-2 p.m. | Owen Courtyard

Owen students, faculty and staff are encouraged to celebrate Giving Day and support Owen. There will be Ben and Jerry’s ice cream and giveaway items.
